For Tim, who can only walk with crutches because of a disability, Scrooge feels compassion for the first time in a long time and asks the Ghost if Tim has long to live. The Ghost denies.
Still stunned, the most sinister of the Ghosts comes to Scrooge. He does not speak and brings the old man to the future Christmas.
