Who is Dennis Nikrasch?

Casino owners don’t love him at all. Dennis Nikrasch, a former locksmith, startet his criminal career by breaking lock boxes and burgling houses. In 1961 he was arrested for the first time and sentenced to eight years in prison. After his discharge he moved to Las Vegas and specialized on manipulating gambling machines which worked mechanically back then.

Nikrasch found a way to manipulate the slot machines and stopped their random generators from working. With this strategy he made more than 15 million US dollars during the 80s. Later gambling machines worked more and more electronically, but he and his accomplices managed to wangle a jackpot: 3.7 billion dollars! 1998 he got arrested and went to prison for seven years, after one of his accomplices revealed information about him to the FBI. Nobody knows where he lives today.
